Agroprotectors:

​This very popular solid tube is a cheaper alternative to the Tubex Standard. As well as protecting the tree from browsing by wildlife, the shelter creates a microclimate which helps the tree establish quicker, resulting in higher survival rates in your planting scheme. The tube also promotes higher air moisture within the tube, meaning the tree has a higher chance of survival in drought conditions. The solid wall will also protect the tree from sprayed herbicides. Use a 1.2m tube if you have deer on site, while a 0.6m tube is designed for rabbit protection. The Agroprotector requires a stake to secure it. We stock 1.35m stakes for a 1.2m tube, and a 0.75m stake for a 0.6m tube.

Acorn Treeguard:

These are made of a 100% recycled plastic mesh and allow airflow through to the foliage of your tree, while still protecting the tree from browsing and from mechanical damage from brushcutter for example. These are well suited to planting conifers, which can grow too rapidly inside a solid tube and prefer the air to circulate through. Some broadleaved species prefer airflow around the tree also, notably beech. 
Again, a 1.2m treeguard is essential for protection from deer, while a 0.6m treeguard will protect from rabbit damage. They require a 1.35m or 0.75m stake to secure.

Acorn Shrubguard:

Identical to the Acorn Treeguard, but with a wider diameter which is ideal for shrubby species which require more room for lateral growth. Use these for juniper, and other shrub or hedge species like viburnums, snowberry, broom and gorse. Sold only in a 0.6m size for rabbit protection.

Tubex Easywrap:

These are a great budget alternative to the 0.6m Tubex standard, and are ideal for use in more sheltered site which doesn't experience high winds. The Easywrap slips easily around a small single stem plant and will widen as the tree grows. Requires a 3' cane.

Spiral Guards:

Again for sheltered site as they secured with a cane rather than a stake, these provide long term rabbit protection at a great price. Very popular for planting large stretches of hedging, they are manufactured from 100% recycled plastic. Requires a 3' cane.

Voleguards:

Voles can be present in huge numbers in woodland sites, and can easily wipe out large scale plantings very quickly. The vole guard is self-supporting if installed correctly, and has sufficient overlap to enable the tree guards to expand as the tree grows.
