Native birch growing up to 30 m high, with elegant, drooping branches, yellow leaves in autumn. Pubescens has a slightly more upright habit than Pendula.

They are also not very picky about soil, although we recommend wetter conditions for best growth.

In spring it has a grayish-white bark and fluffiness.
