Copper Beech (Fagus sylvatica purpurea)
A striking purple cultivar of beech, and a great choice for a stately looking hedgerow. Copper beech will, like its green relative, retain its leaves throughout the winter when they will turn a crisp brown and then get pushed off by the new ones in spring.
