Dog Rose (Rosa canina)
A climbing wild rose, with pinkish white flowers; it is often used as a minor component in a rural hedgerow to add aesthetic value. Very quick growing and hardy, it will grow in almost all conditions. The rosehips it produces in autumn have an extremely high vitamin C content and can be used a very healthy tonic or tea.
