Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea)
Often used to add colour to the garden in winter, as its barks turns a bright red colour in the autumn and well into the winter. It will produce the brightest winter bark when planted in full sun, but will also tolerate partial shade. The dogwood will also do well in a moist site, and are quite hardy trees in general.
