Snowberry (Symphoricarpus albus)
The common snowberry is a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub up to 2m in height. It is an important food source for grouse and pheasant, making this a popular choice as game cover. Also a good choice for the beginner gardener however, as the plant is easy to maintain and happy in most situations. It has bright white berries in autumn, which give it an ornamental quality.
